Clean & Tidy- Winter Clean Up

Winter is the time to clean under your plants to help reduce the amount of pests and diseases in the spring. 

We are expecting a mild winter this year- which means the cold may not be enough to kill off pests from your garden.

Removing any debris with signs of bugs, disease and fungus is especially important with evergreen trees and shrubs, as they will house the pests during the winter.

Discard of all debris that show symptoms of pests and disease in the garbage instead of your compost pile to prevent them from making a home there.
